Only 500 units of the Ducati 1299 Superleggera will ever be made, So its exclusive alright, but what makes it so special?
Well, It has a mind-boggling 215 bhp on tap, the most the world has ever seen out of a production twin-cylinder motor. All that firepower hasn’t got much weight to shift either because, for the first time in motorcycling history, the swing arm, frame, sub-frame, and wheels are all carbon fibre. Hence the suffix – Superleggera – Italian for super light.
All of which means that the 1299 Superleggera has a better power-to-weight ratio than the mighty Bugatti Chiron.
We’re super proud to be the only publication representing India as we ride it around Italy’s famed Mugello Circuit.
This wouldn’t have been possible without your support. Thank you!
